The majority of the climate region saw minimal rain with the expectation of the Texas Panhandle and Western Oklahoma. Another week of dry conditions in Southeast Texas led to widespread one-class degradations leading to the introduction of drought conditions in the area. One-class degradations also occurred in East and Central Tennessee where 53% of rangeland and pastures were rated in very poor to poor conditions. Meanwhile, thunderstorms in the Northwest portion of the Region helped bring scattered one-class improvements, relieving drought conditions in some areas.
